After our 5 day excursion to Wyoming we are finally home! Road trips are trying on everyone but I must say my kids handled it better then I thought. By the end of it I nearly pulled my hair out BUT they were troopers!
We had a nice dinner with Tony's family and were able to share a special time with his grandparents. They are an inspiration to all young couples! They have made it 50 years and are still going strong!
The day after the dinner we started our trek home. We went to Yellowstone and saw some wildlife as well as Old Faithful. Corey was absolutely amazed by the geyser!

Road trip!
Riley's first major road trip started Thursday June 14th. We drove from Manteca to American Fork, Utah. Corey and Riley did so well in the car. They are much like their dad and just sleep! We did stop in Wendover for a bite to eat. There I got to put Riley in the moby wrap forward facing for the first time. He loved it! Tony's aunt and uncle live in American Fork so we stayed the night. They were so excited to see the boys. Corey was being his cute little shy self trying to steal some attention away from his brother :) Now we are headed to Wyoming to see Tony's Hollingsworth grandparents for their 50th wedding anniversary. So another 9ish hours in the van. Really testing my boys' patience this weekend!

Riley's First Friend
I was holding Riley and the pain in my arm was starting to bother me; so I thought I'd put him in his crib. I laid him down and turned on the glow worm. He just about instantly started talking to it. I was so busy talking in high pitch about how cute it was that I nearly missed it on camera!

Riley Adjusting to Home life
Riley McKay Robbins
April 12th at 2:00pm
7lbs, 9oz, 18 3/4in
The delivery went very well. I went in to the hospital at 3am and he was born at 2pm. Riley may be my second baby but nothing about this delivery was the same aside from a beautiful baby boy at the end :) When I had Corey there was no doubt in my mind that I would get an Epidural. The doctor had told me "not only will you be in pain but your husband and I will be as well because we can't do anything for you." So I went the "easy" painless route, pushed for two hours and finally had to have the doctor help get him out with suction. This delivery I went in thinking "I'm not getting an epidural, I don't care what the Doctor says." He tried to talk me into it but I held my ground and said no. Once I got to 7 centimeters though, that was a different story! They tried giving me IV pain meds but that didn't go well (they made me very emotional and they had to stop them). I asked for the epidural at this point (secretly hoping they would say its too late) and the anesthesiologist was called. She came in thinking I was having a C-section and I quickly corrected her and she said she would be back. She never came back. By the time I realized she wasn't coming I was ready to push. The nurse was called and she called the doctor. Once I was allowed to push Riley was here in 10 minutes! After experiencing both (with an epidural and without) I'm going to say I would rather go without. It hurt, no lie, but it was faster and it didn't last long.
We were all so tired once he was born, no one got to sleep but big brother Corey. We thought Corey would be really excited once he finally saw his brother but that wasn't the case. He had fallen asleep like I said and had to wake up to meet his little brother and he wasn't happy about that. The next day Corey and Daddy came to see Riley (and Mommy of course) and Corey was in much better spirits and even brought the little sock monkey for him.
I have never seen a happier dad and big bro!
Or a cuter lil bro!

Corey has adjusted well and Riley is very cozy in his new home.
We couldn't be happier for our newest blessing.

Getting Close!
We are counting down the weeks until Riley's arrival (5 weeks, give or take a day or two). Everything is coming together as far as setting up his own space and getting Corey settled in his new bed. I must say I can not wait for April 17th and when I finally meet the little monster that likes to kick back with his feet propped up on my ribs!
We did get a sneak peek at what he may look like when we did a 3D ultrasound. It was one of the most amazing forms of technology I've ever experienced!

Our Number 2
About 2 weeks before Corey's second birthday, Tony and I found out some wonderful news!
We are expecting another baby! We told Corey about this new exciting change and he has been saying "baby" and poking my belly. At our first appointment he got to see "baby" on the monitor and was so excited. At our second appointment when we found out "baby" is actually "brother" Corey was even more excited! He now say "brudder" and pokes my belly. He very often wants to give "brudder" kisses and tries to find my belly. It is so amazing to see the love grow in my little Punkins heart.
It is week 17 in my pregnancy, the nausea has somewhat disappeared and I'm starting to feel little movements.
A little over 20 weeks and little Robbins will be here! We couldn't be more excited!
